In fact it was yesterday afternoon that I was driving in the highway, the sky was magnificent with a beautiful sunset and suddenly the radio put this song…I felt like I was in a movie scene! Amazing moment… So, that’s why I wanted to hear it again today and from that moment I’m listening to opera arias with Maria Callas, I’m totally in the mood for a beautiful patio spending holiday time! That’s why I found the cutest gardens, balconys etc that inspired me, to share them with you! Have a beautiful morning!
Hello! How lovely weekends are as summer is getting closer and closer..! Such a paradise, relaxing in a cute patio like this above, eating icecream, reading a book or have fun with close friends! I would kill for these chairs too. Today I’m also very thrilled because this afternoon I’m gonna see my little niece that haven’t seen for ages! She’s the cutest little girl in the whole world!! And in the evening I’m going to a nice restaurant for an anniversary dinner. 🙂 Oh, I love weekends!
For you that are in a crafty mood I found the most chic and easy DIY project for fridge magnets! See HERE the procedure.

Hello, hello!! The classic weekend posts are back, hooray!! After all this time, it’s the first Saturday I wake up without having to go to work and it’s so great! Drinking my coffee in a relaxing mode, watching inspiring pictures on pinterest and listening to good music. That’s my favorite ritual of putting my brain in function. Today I’m about to go for a walk in a design exhibition here in Athens, to be updated about new materials and products! What are your plans for this weekend?
If you are in a DIY mood I have here the best DIY project for your home!Fruit welcome mat! Let’s fill neighbourhoods with summer fruits!Source of “love weekend” photo here.
Good morning and happy rest of the week! Yesterday I didn’t have the time to post the regular monday’s post about home offices so here it is today 🙂 I feel so tired today that this quote is perfect for me!!! Eventually the project I’m working on haven’t finish yet, this will be the final week, so I keep going in the same rythm!
However, as I told you I left for the weekend for a small vacation in the country. I had such a great, summery time that filled me with courrage for this week! I’ll come back with photos of course… And that’s why I chose this workspace for today that is in a porch! What a wonderful idea, working not only at home but also in the porch! Have a nice rest of the week!!
After a long rainy week here in Athens, I have again a feeling for summer houses and relaxing refuges! That’s a great opportunity for this amazing villa in Capri, summerresidence of architect and designerMatteo Thun.
Overlooking the Marina Piccola and surrounded by a lemon tree garden the outdoor space is magical and the view just breathtaking! And what can I say about the interior..the tiles on the walls are fantastic! Clean, neutral space with some bold touches of colour, the murano chandellier makes the perfect match and the outdoor dinning table is unique!
I find all these “bathrooms” just amazing! The idea of taking a shower in the open air reminds me the summers when I was little, where we used to rinse after the sea, outside in the yard. With the garden hose most of the times. These examples have taken this idea one step ahead and created a space very practical but most important relaxing and beautiful!
Black&White &wood in the nature. Nice element the bench idea
Simplicity wins every time! Who needs more?
Minimal design dominates here
One of my favorite! Dark walls, trunks and a phrase as a hanger
Antique metal tub in the nature. Like the old old days!! What simplier than that?
Minimal and “to the point”
Tropical bathroom in an outdoor extension of the house
Tiles and plants create a tropical atmosphere
Simple things. I love the door!
Unfortunately all the photos are from my archive, so no sources, if anyone knows you’re welcome to send me the info!
As I have promised in the previous post about outdoor spaces here, another one would follow with the water element as a protagonist. Well, here we are, some great yards and gardens are here to impress you! I’m sure you will imagine yourself in everyone of them, relaxing under the shade, even with a cocktail in the hand!
In most of the caption links you will find the rest of the house which is also amazing.
Now that the weather has sweetened and we start sitting outside I thought that this is the time to drive you crazy with some photos! I’m sure you will love these outdoors spaces, as I loved them too. As you can see in the most photos, the key element is – of course – plants. Trees, bushes, flowers, cacti, everything! The other thing is that usually, you don’t need much to make a gorgeous patio, some nice cushions, furniture and keep it simple. Of course, if you have the divine space under a big tree you are super lucky. Enjoy!
