Hello there!! Weekend again and the living is easy…and my mood is exactly like the photo above! I wanna snuggle inside pink fluffy pillows and stay the whole weekend! Sleep, rest and feel that warmth of being home. And for an ideal situation I’d like Lara (my cat) purring next to me!
I don’t think I’ll do that anyway because I have stuff to do but it’s the first weekend after quite a time that I don’t have to go to the office and work, so I’m cool! What are your plans for the weekend? I hope you’ll have a great time in any case! xoxo
As I mentioned in the previous post, when winter is giving us cold feet (literally) we light a fire in our home. And if you have such a fireplace you don’t want anything else! Maybe a soft blanket and a book! And a hot drink with good company. Or -as a friend of mine corrected me once- hot company with a good drink! Choose your ideal situation.
In this post though I focus on fireplaces’s design. Simple lines, minimal style and some unusual decorations of them. Tiles for example and copper. It can be from earthy and sophisticated to funny, cool element of the room.
Minimal structure but greatly decorated with white textured tiles. Studio Ko
Beautiful fireplace for a summer house with a feminine touch. I would decorate it completely different but this is an opinion too. Via Orlando’s obsession

As I am writing this post my feet are a bit cold and I’m thinking how nice it would be if I had a fire next to me… I actually have a fireplace in the room but it’s really nothing comparing to these! Also, I should go to the basement for firewoods and I am very very lazy right now…
This month in Greece is super cold, we have snowing and stuff, fireplaces should be honored with a post, don’t you think? In fact, I found so many great examples that I decided to break the post in two parts. Besides the photos are so powerful that I didn’t want to ruin their glory. The first one in classic style and the second one (that will follow) in simple lines.
In this post, classy is the right word to describe these spaces. Elaborate decoration, romantic to eclectic style, traditional structure. BUT, what I love the most is their final aesthetic, where through material, colors and general decoration of the room (painting or nothing at all) we could describe them as even minimal! Except one, number 3 is totally classic and aristocratic! What is your favorite?

It’s the first weekend of the year, after the holidays and that’s why we keep our christmas spirit just a little! The last moments of relaxation in holiday mood, eating the leftovers of cakes and everything… I had bad luck and got sick, damn it now in the end… I hope it won’t last long! Until then I’ll stay in bed with fuzzy socks and hot drinks like in the photo…Have a nice weekend you all!! Enjoy your healthy lives!!
This is where I would like to spend this weekend! During cold days such a relaxing spot with warm knits and fluffy throws is a paradise! I wish all of you a cozy weekend with the warmiest company!
If you want to spend some fun time with kids, here I have a link for a DIY project “Weaving with kids”. Have fun!
Have a nice, warm weekend with friends and love!
Brrr…in Athens we experience cold and rainy days! I just want to stay home with a fluffy blanket around me and Lara-my fluffier cat 🙂
Totally the mood of the day! Or days…Cold weather is here to stay and I want all the time to be in the house, feeling cozy, wearing warm clothes, reading a book and relaxing! And always I imagine myshelf eating something delicious in situations like that! Enjoy your Sunday 🙂
I don’t know if that word exists but in my mind it’s perfect! Autumn makes me feel like these pictures above. Brown, mustard, beige colours, soft blankets and lazy mood! Also, for me it’s the beginning of hot coffee again, going with my morning ritual, coffee and pinterest 🙂
In fact, in Greece we have also this monday as a day off because it is a holiday. Yeeei!!
